Contrary to popular belief, not all inks are vegan. Some traditional inks contain:

• Animal glycerin (fat).
• Gelatin (boiled bones).
• Bone black (animal bone charcoal) for black pigments.

At Owink, we exclusively use certified Vegan and Cruelty-Free inks (not tested on animals). They are just as vibrant, last just as long, and comply with strict European REACH regulations.

Beyond the Ink: The Equipment

Tattooing generates a lot of waste (this is the price of hygiene and single-use materials). But we try to limit our impact:

• Hygiene Products: Vegan soaps and transfer creams.
• Protections: We favor biodegradable or recyclable alternatives whenever possible for cable and machine protections.
