The First Days

The first 48 hours are crucial:

• Do not touch your piercing with dirty hands
• Clean 2 times a day with sterile saline solution
• Avoid pools, saunas and baths
• Sleep on the side opposite to the piercing

Cleaning Routine

Morning and Evening

1. Wash your hands thoroughly
2. Soak a cotton pad with saline solution
3. Gently clean around the jewelry
4. Dry with a clean compress

Absolutely Avoid

• Alcohol and hydrogen peroxide
• Antibiotic creams without prescription
• Turning or moving the jewelry
• Cosmetic products on the area

Healing Time

• Earlobe: 6-8 weeks
• Cartilage: 3-6 months
• Nose: 2-4 months
• Navel: 6-12 months

Warning Signs

Consult immediately if you notice:

• Excessive redness or heat
• Yellow or green pus discharge
• Intense pain
• Fever
